Eric Arturo Torres-Mendieta
Founding Director and Chief Translator

Born in Lima, Peru, he worked for the Peruvian Ministry of Economy, Finance and Commerce for over a decade. He migrated to Australia and studied at La Trobe University (Melbourne) where he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts and an Honours Degree in Spanish Language, European Studies, Linguistics and Cultures. Later he did undertook postgraduate studies at Universidad de Salamanca (Spain) including the Diploma Superior de Español, D.E.L.E.

Eric is accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). Being passionate for translations, he founded ATIS with the aim of providing Australia with top quality Spanish <> Translations. He is currently ATIS' Chief Translator.
