What is an Official NAATI Translation?
In many situations, governmental bodies, public organisations, legal entities and institutions may only accept an 'Official' translation. The document (e.g. Birth Certificates, Driver's Licenses, contracts, etc...), both in the original language and the translation will have legal implications. Therefore such Official Translations are considered legally equivalent, on the basis that the Translator is accredited by NAATI and qualified in ensuring that legal significances (i.e. the purpose of the document) are correctly conveyed across the languages.
'Official' translations must bear NAATI stamp which includes the Translators name, accreditation number and signature. All Translations undertaken by ATIS are done by qualified and fully accredited NAATI translators. Our Translations (NAATI Certified Spanish <> English Translations) will bear the NAATI stamp in addition to other 'Official' seals. |
